Migrating from NVRaves to Reno EDM has been something I have wanted to do for a couple years now. I have brought the topic up to several members & admins here and we all generally feel that the name "NV Raves" is poor, and the "Reno EDM" is much better all around. It just makes more sense. EDM is the common ground here, not raves, parties, etc. I feel that the name encompasses all aspects of the scene, instead of just one. Discuss the name change on the boards.
We have a new website, but don’t worry, the forums are still here. This website is part of a plan to further the EDM community in Reno, NV, as well as strengthen relationships with our family on the west coast. The two main new features of the site are DJ Spotlight, and News. DJ Spotlight will focus on a different DJ/Producer each month.
